RGC History
Ranchi Gymkhana Club, one of most prestigious Clubs in the City, was founded in the year 1988 as a recreational haven for all those who sought refuge from the encounters of a busy and bustling city life to find some calm and quiet alongside fun and fitness. Where RGC scores over others, is its identity as the the most premier club of its kind with an unmatched display of flora and fauna, some of which are rare to find. RGC promises a great social atmosphere which is second to none- friendly, unpretentious, inviting a place with a real soul. Over a period of more than three decades, RGC has built a legacy of being the ideal place to bring in family, friends or business associates for an enjoyable experience. Gymkhana, as the name suggests, boasts a range of sporting facilities, rarely found under a single roof. In this and many other respects, RGC has few equals.
RGC Legacy
Ranchi Gymkhana Club was founded on February 13th, 1988, with the generous help of Usha Martin Group of Industries. The Club was formed by about 200 people with Shri Brij Kishore Jhawar as the President and Shri Sushil Lohia as the honorary secretary. The Club carries a rich store of legends and memories and has inherited a tradition of sports right from its inception.
